Unseen Suffering , 2022
100 x 200 cm (h x w)

In the artist's own words: "As I created this artwork, I felt a sense of frustration and helplessness at the ongoing refugee crisis and the lack of attention paid to the suffering of those involved. The peaceful figure floating in the water is meant to symbolize the countless lives lost or forgotten in the chaos of the crisis. The muted colors and ambiguous forms are meant to suggest the unknowable nature of the suffering."
