Silent Tragedy , 2022
100 x 200 cm (h x w)

In the artist's own words: "As an artist, I was deeply affected by the ongoing refugee crisis and the countless lives that have been lost at sea. In this artwork, I wanted to express a sense of tragedy and mourning, with the refugee figure peacefully floating in the water as if in eternal rest. The abstract shapes and muted colors are meant to evoke a sense of the vastness of the ocean and the enormity of the loss."
