Artist Statement

The concept behind this image was to utilize celestial projections to communicate the relationship between the universe and humans. We are such a small part of the cosmos and I wanted to express that smallness visually. The idea of projecting a planet onto the model’s face is a literal look into what she could be staring at off-frame, creating wonder and curiosity for the viewer.
