Description of Process
Poster printed in letterpress using wood type and metal cliches produced especially for this project with the digital Noka font by the Brazilian type designer Daniel Sabino.
The poster was printed first using a Vandercook Universal 3 and then on a platen press adapted for large formats. The artwork had eleven passes to register the typographic shapes. Conceptually, the project is characterized as an exploration of graphic language in dialogue between the digital and analog typographic universes. The artwork explores the shapes, textures, and countless possibilities that typographic language invites us each to consider.
Printed on Fedrigoni paper with different colors, 300gr, 20 numbered copies.
