HOW MUCH /MORE , 2024
224 x 180 x 5 cm (h x w x d)
Found car door, spray paint, graffiti pens, acrylic paint, hardboard, pallet, sand

Car door installation inspired by the crushed car sculptures by John Chamberlain, Ant Farm’s Cadillac Ranch, Basquiat’s graffiti and Sylvie Fleury’s gold trolley. This artwork represents the absurdity of consumerism. Its addiction & permanence - to bury products which engulf us. Ancient & modern culture inspirations - the Mixtec codice eye motif: past generations look in discontent; and fish motif: our ‘fishbowl’ confinement to consumerism. We question: How Much More?
