The installation sculpture is comprised of tape, tissue paper and thread. The thread provides the piece with tension as it is taught and expands across opposite sides of the piece proving a sense of connection among the paper elements. The theme of suffocation and entrapment is reflected in the sculpture through the pleats in the paper which allow it to stretch like a hemisphere, enclosing the space within it.
