A series of photographs depicting creatures from Swedish folklore (the Troll, the Huldra and the Neck). Inspired by the ethereal art by Johan Egerkrans, I wanted to portray my cultural identity from a folkloric perspective. I took the background photos in the Taunus forest and the photographs of myself inside. Using Photoshop, I combined the images, making edits to make them more natural and add an ethereal sensation. I added filters to my other photos to create a foreboding atmosphere.
