A love letter to the studio apartments and bodegas of New York, and a representation of the comfort zone created by familiar places. I wanted to embrace the feeling of a dollhouse in this piece with rooms that haven yet been unlocked. Our perspective shapes our reality externally and internally, the negative space and windows leaves room to look in wonder, what goes on in the lives, homes, and comfort zones of others?
