The concept of worldbuilding engages the genre of science fiction, bringing to life the idea of parallel universes. My piece explores this possibility, with each circle representing a different universe; each one seems the same but has nuanced differences. This drawing – like worldbuilding - also includes political systems. The red circle in the center of each universe refers to the Communist Manifesto, in which Marx describes the history of all existing societies and their class struggles. The red symbolizes the chaos and violence that underscores the foundation of a new universe. 31 represents the total number of universes in this artwork, a number significant in numerology for its connection to change and progress, two of the central concepts of worldbuilding and to the theme of Care and Repair.
