Panca Sora Performance , 2024
90 x 120 cm (h x w)

In the GENPEACE project in Indonesia, Save the Children Indonesia and King's College London are working with the Bandung City Government, the Indonesian Ministry of PPPA and Saung Angklung Udjo to organise children's voices through arts and cultural performances in the context of children's participation in the development planning process.

The children's voices in the Panca Sora (Five Voices) performance contain the concerns and hopes of children in the city of Bandung in relation to the five clusters of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, packaged in various forms of cultural arts such as original songs, festivals/performances, traditional dances, wayang golek, mass angklung and cabaret. This activity provides a new and more child-friendly approach to children's participation in development planning in Indonesia.
