Oil and Enamel On Canvas

I'm interested in not only my own idea's but the idea's and artistic direction of the models. Most of the time my models are my friends, classmates, or people I work with. I show them my work and ask if they would be interested in being a part of a painting. Then, I ask them how they would feel comfortable posing with food, what message they are interested in sending, how they want to be seen. I do interviews with them and write down what they say or I film it. Then I take the photo's and interview and combine to something visual. My work focuses on identity, sexual politics and beauty standards.
