Not Quite Within Reach , 2021
Acrylic on Air Dry Clay

This piece is an observation of what I have seen in the year 2020-21, in the midst of a pandemic. In this piece, I question whether or not this endless loop will ever end. Because of these difficult times, there seems to have been a stop in time. The blurring between days stuck at home does not feel like reality. This alternative reality is represented in this sculpture because specific angles hide the things that are lurking behind.
