Culture of Nazi Germany

The Minister for Popular Enlightenment and Propaganda, started to bring propaganda immediately and started with cultural organizations of Jews and other threading organisations.

Germany started promoting “German virtues” like industry, self-sacrifice, and racial purity. Art wasn’t a artistic expression anymore. It became german way of showing Nazi Propaganda.

On May 10, 1933, Nazi activists and members of the National Socialist German Students' Association organized nation-wide book burning of “un-German” writers, especially the ones that were written by Jews. The Literary Chamber as fast as possible, has established "black lists" to remove "unacceptable" books from public libraries.

The theatres had National Socialist dramas as well as traditional and classical performances
Performances of jazz music and Swing, associated in the Nazi mind with African-American culture were strictly banned

The propaganda was so strong that it strongly affected the average germans mindset. All of the propaganda was getting people ready for another conflict.
