Henry Moore

-Sculptor born in Castleford, Yorkshire in the year 1898
-Inspired by Giotto, Masaccio, Picasso and Michaelangelo
-In 1919-1921 he attended the Leeds School of Art
-He won a Royal Exhibition Scholarship to study sculpturing at the Royal College of Art
-He created 36 sculptures as a give to the Tate Gallery in London
-His sculptures were very modern and still are
