Siblings , 2020
24 x 36 in (h x w)
acrylic on canvas

Typically, I paint after coming home from work and allow the painting to capture a subtle nuance or emotion of what I experienced that day. But, now that I'm working from home with limited human interaction, I've noticed that my paintings have taken on a representative view of human connection. Each brush stroke could be interpreted as an individual, whereas the full art piece depicts the overlapping connections that are a continual part of our lives (even while we are physically distant).
