The president of the German Psychological Society, Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Metzger, opened the congress prepared by Wilhelm Arnold in the Kaiser Saal of the Würzburg Residence at 10 a.m. on September 25, 1962. Arnold is fifth from the right in the front row.
