The Garden of Corannulene , 2022

Likening the creation of Corannulene to the creation of Man in the Garden of Eden, I used the beauty of flowers and stained-glass windows to portray Corannulene in its most beautiful state. When sunlight passes through a stained-glass window, the tinted light casted reflects the glowing neon appearance of Corannulene when ultraviolet light is cast on it in the dark. The presence of the sun highlights how heat and light is used to create the Corannulene molecules, just as how flowers need them to grow and flourish.
