Sulfur (S), Helium (He), is a word play using elements from the periodic table: SHe. Along with the use of puns, I wanted to create a fun graphic, celebrating women in chemistry. I went with a combination of doodles with cinematic lighting. Coming from a background in cinematography, I am inspired by film lighting, using lights from practicals and windows, entering enclosed areas, in this case, the chemistry laboratory.
