STORY:
This photo was taken from the top of an observation tower, while the Amazon jungle was awakening one morning. As the mist was rising lazily out of the forest, the sun pierced the mist on the left-hand side of my view and created a circular rainbow. This is a very rare phenomenon. It was as if the Creator Himself was trying to focus my attention on this spectacular location. Since I took this photo, fires have ravaged that part of the Amazon and I can only imagine how it looks now. It is crucially important that we protect our pristine wilderness areas. They are the lungs of our planet and the crucibles of life. That’s why I have called this print Breathe.
