MULTIMEDIA

Welcome to "Bits and Bytes of Life", a virtual exhibition showcasing the creativity of ten students from the University of Europe for Applied Sciences who have used various experimental media techniques to tell their life experiences and personal stories.
Meet Salvia Sany, the sensitive and observant who subtly uses archived family photo albums, recording and web design skills to express the complexities of a mother-daughter relationship. Always full of energy, Jeremias Brito will take you on a virtual adventure as he shares his experiences of moving from Brazil to Germany through AI-generated illustrations inspired by his diary. Soft and sometimes insecure, Nundikesha Rughoonundhun bravely confronts herself and the issue of domestic violence by combining her voice with archived images of her family in a video that shows the brutality of her father's violence against her mother, which she witnessed during her childhood. At the same time, her video presentation touches the audience with beautiful moments of love between her and her mother.
Alexia Fabeck's fragile but multiplex artwork, which combines analogue and digital techniques, plunges the audience into a fluctuating sea of toxic relationships, while Zhamilya Zhailaubay's imaginative short film encourages reflection on what we really want to manifest in life.
Diego Navas and Rebeca Carrasquero, a dynamic, curious and collaborative duo, remind us of the importance of caring for nature and embracing empathy through their creative multidisciplinary media works. Alina Dochshanova's photo collage consciously questions the good and bad effects of social media on young people, while Zere's playful animated short using AI-generated text-to-video on Runway Gen-2 with the Jolly Bob is sure to cheer you up. Finally, Kirill Antonov's passion for anime and Studio Ghibli will also make you smile.
"Bits and Bytes of Life" is a testament to the power of storytelling and innovative multimedia techniques. A touching and inspiring experience. Are you ready to be amazed by the creativity of these talented students?
