Desamarre es un término que es utilizado en la navegación para hacer referencia a la acción de liberar una embarcación de sus lazos que la sujetan a un puerto, para así comenzar su trayecto. En esta experiencia propongo embarcarme en una navegación a la deriva, atravesando paisajes propios y ajenos, recorriendo la colección del museo y sus rincones, para poder trazar puentes que me permitan diálogos y cruces con mi propia producción, generando así contrastes de escalas, texturas e imágenes que desdibujen, no solo los límites entre mi producción y el acervo del museo, sino que también las propias lógicas del espacio virtual.

Casting off

Casting off is the term that is used in sailing to refer to the act of releasing a boat from the ties that anchor it to the dock, in order for it to start off onto its course. In this experience I propose embarking, sailing adrift, crossing through passages both known and unknown, touring the museum collection and it’s every crevice. This will allow me to build bridges for dialogues and intersections with my own production, thus creating contrasts of scales, textures and images that blur, not only the limits within my production and the museum collection, but also the orientation of the virtual space itself.
