Each piece tells the story of virtue blossoming through strength, diligence and striving through the struggle. It tells the story of experience overcome through resilience, where the fight and conquer itself is shown figuratively through its counterpart and expresses the ways in which we can rise far above incident and emotion.​My artistic practise and process in creating each piece wholly reflects the meaning as layers build upon each other leaving visible a small part of the previous layer to show the transparency of where it all started; experience. Colour and final peaks of texture also support this. As a monologue of emotion, each canvas is a way of self expression, in healing and highlighting beauty with a new found story that transforms the old.
