Artist Statement

The word unanimity comes from two Latin roots: “uni,” meaning one, and “anima,” meaning soul. Thus unanimity means “being of one soul.” Thus, the true urge for unanimity speaks directly to us of that place within us that is of the soul, a place that unites us in the consciousness of the one human family of which we are all a part. Unanimity is therefore an expression of love. Showcasing the duality of humans.

Artist Bio

My name is Victoria Tsoumagas. I'm a portrait & fashion photographer based in Toronto whose focus is to capture a client's raw essence in the form of images. I got introduced to the arts (such as drawing, poetry, and painting) at a young age which then led me to the world of photography which came as no surprise.

As a photographer and an artist I believe that if you are passionate about what you do, then there is no challenge big enough from preventing you to achieve great results. This is why I consider that my style of photography is for everyone. People receive images that capture who they really are, and I have a lot of fun making it happen! I try to live by the mantra of pursuing joy despite the hard times in life, and filling in the cracks that come into view in life with gold as everyone keeps journeying forward on this path. As with most artists, I have had many doubts but that will not stop me from continuing what I love which is photography!
