Assemblage using photographic collage and thread.

I probed my interpretation of tension through thread, by suspending cut-out faces, found in magazines, on which the facial features of other people are stitched on. This highlights the idea that tension is a universal and common experience among my peers as we are all experiencing this new course together. This reminder that I am not alone provides me with comfort as I feel more connected to my peers. This is reinforced through the use of thread which intertwines the faces in a web of black.
