Black Ink on paper, polaroid picture, glue and red ink and tissue paper

The poem, influenced by Oulipo, uses one of their constraints, S+7; this involves replacing each noun in a poem with the seventh noun following it in a dictionary. I used Sylvia Plath’s 'Colossus', as I can relate to it. Written in ink due to its strong presence on the white paper and its permanent nature, the poem is punctuated by sketches, depicting the non-linear narrative of surrealism and workings of memory. It presents snapshots and images that resemble complex thought processes.
