My art making space is to me both shelter and exposure, a place for self reflection and growth. I consider my personal identity closely built with my artworks as they almost acts as the core memories of my experiences. So much as the artworks are core memories, they are often magnified by detailed and commonly unnoticed sites, amongst my living environment. I built my collections of these sites within the archive of photographic memories. They would layer and connect through my learnt lessons and sentiment, the archive goes alongside and intertwines with my identity as I carry on this journey of discovery. A motor-driven mirror reflecting lights from the torch that delve into the relationship between private and public spaces, it imprints a balcony space of present memory, by scrolling the controller on the plinth, the space unfolds as shifting perspectives

this is a one whole body of work of a kinetic installation which the silkscreen print on glass can be removed from its support as a single piece. The photos that I currently have are taken by an iPhone therefore the image quality might not be so well compared to a professional camera. This work is currently taken apart but won’t take long to be reassembled. Please find the attachment to this email for the photos and please let me know if I need to send better photos so that I can reassemble the work and arrange a photography session next week.
