This piece was inspired by our modern society. By entering the world of social media or even modern relationships one can often find oneself lonely, even when we are with someone else. By creating a sculptural monotone landscape I intend the viewer to witness the struggle to make connections in this environment. The foam board and clean cut rectangular shapes are meant to further emphasize this point. Furthermore, the basic figures imply that anyone could wrestle with social distance.
