This work metaphorically depicts what the effects of cyber bullying looks like. Every year cyber bullying becomes a more accessible way of effective a person’s self-image and emotional state. It is tied to the increase of teenage suicide rates every year.

I work in a variety of mediums in my practice. I like to use contrast and darker tones in my paintings to deliver my ideas. In my oil paintings, I use small brush strokes to create smooth structures with regard to the figures I am creating. Since the human face is the main focus of human expression, my portraits are expressions of emotions in a symbolic way. My works are addressing different issues of interest or experiences I have encountered. I believe in the greater purpose of an artist and see art as a tool of education for people. The works I create are portraying different ideas that leave a viewer to their imagination. According to the Gestalt theory of psychology, every person sees artworks and signs in a different way due to the different ways everyone experiences the world around them. However, there are common cues that are familiar to most people and are used worldwide to get the information across, such as - red colour to signify danger or draw attention, green to imply safety, and so on. Taking into consideration such concepts can be important for an artist in contemporary practice. I do not give away the story behind my piece all together, I rather engage the audience and encourage them to make their judgments based on their unique knowledge and experience. I believe in the idea of artworks speaking to people, rather than artists. My artistic inspiration is the artist - Francis Bacon, who was also a supporter of the same theory. His works show a lot of disturbing and dark images, critics tend to vary on the interpretation of his works or the reasons behind them. The figures he portrayed only suggest a human silhouette and do not give it away in full detail, giving it an impression of motion and movement. The symbolic expression and freedom for a viewer to interpret the artistic work gives the audience a chance to experience them on a different level, become a part of it.
