Portrait of a transgenre. I believe in valorisation of LGBTQ+ (Lesbian-Gay-Bi-Trans-Queer+). This is a very important topic in our current society. Too many of them still feel discriminated against, or judged, even though they are totally part of our world. Art is a way to celebrate diversity and freedom of choices. Human interactions inspire me, my colours and energy are reflecting the diversity in human kind!

My name is Alexandra Van Lierde, French-Belgian artist, based now in Brussels.
I mainly use oil on canvas, that I sometimes mix with sand, acrylic or aerosol. Amongst my colors, oils and brushes, I try to capture the essence and energy of life, and I am seeking for light and meaning, always. My paintings touch viewers. It is all about emotions. My inspirations are the world around us, nature, people, human interactions, our planet.
