Mirrored Lights II

Inspired by Caspar David Friedrich and Johan Christian Dahl's piece "View of Dresden by Moonlight", I developed a landscape photo series accentuating the otherworldliness also portrayed in Dahl's piece. The light from the moon, clouds and street lights convey a separation from identity, indicating how natural landscapes are a mirror of human emotions, linking to the title. This symbolizes the disconnect between the soul and mind within melancholy.
