Amina's life, deeply affected by the war in Syria, encapsulates loss and resilience. After her home was damaged by airstrikes and her husband tragically killed, she and her five children faced the harsh realities of displacement and rebuilding. With one son injured and struggling to support his own young family, they all rely heavily on one another. The earthquake of February 2023 added to their trials, forcing the family into a cramped and unsafe space, fearing for their lives. Despite these adversities, Amina finds a glimmer of hope through food vouchers from People in Need funded by the European Union. However, the needs remain vast, especially after the earthquake's devastation. As she contemplates the prospect life in a camp, her son reminds her of the greater needs within their community, and highlights their ongoing struggle for survival and dignity in the face of overwhelming challenges.

Aminin život, hluboce zasažený válkou v Sýrii, v sobě zahrnuje ztrátu i odolnost. Poté, co byl její dům poškozen nálety a její manžel tragicky zahynul, musela se svými pěti dětmi čelit kruté realitě vysídlení. Jeden její syn je zraněný a snaží se uživit vlastní mladou rodinu. K jejich zkouškám se přidalo zemětřesení v únoru 2023, které rodinu zahnalo do stísněného a nebezpečného prostoru. Všichni se báli. Navzdory těmto nepřízním osudu nachází Amina záblesk naděje díky potravinovým poukázkám od Člověka v tísni financovaným Evropskou unií. Potřeby však zůstávají obrovské, zejména po ničivém zemětřesení. Zatímco přemýšlí o budoucnosti života v táboře, tak její syn připomíná každodění boj o přežití.
